Up next from Carrier Pigeon: "Victor Giannini returns with “The Monster of Sunset Park,” a sometimes upsetting reach into the realm of dark consciousness from the point of view of a resurrected car crash victim, illustrated with Matt Barteluce’s inspired fantasy."

"Sin Corazon" in Carrier Pigeon #5

Carrier Pigeon #5 is out.
I'm grateful for the artist they chose yet again. Keep nailing it guys! In their words:

"Sin Corazon," written by return contributor Victor Giannini, is a restrained fantasy about life within, beyond and adjacent to death. Ray Jones captures the off-kilter world with his trademark, sinuous inkfest.

"Sin Corazon" was first published as a different version by Silverthought, the same publisher who is releasing my first book this spring, "Scott Too" !!!!!! I love everything for just a brief moment. Try to remember this when the sharks grow legs ....

“Who cares? We don’t know why we’re born in the first place. The important thing is that we’re still together. And everyone is coming back. Everyone. So that must make it OK. Just imagine: all the fear and uncertainty of when you’re going to die could just go away. You can take control.”

"SHARK ENGINE ENIGMA" in CP # 4. Get it while it snot.

The Shark Engine Enigma, first appearing in Satirica by Cowboy Logic Press, has found a nice new home,in the oh so sexy fourth issue of Carrier Pigeon. I'm lucky that Ray Jones illustrated it! Score.

In addition, my colleague Christine Pacson's story Straweberry Heart is featured in the same issue, illustrated bye Rachel Allison.

So ... you know the drill. Go buy, read, enjoy!

Some Things

Carrier Pigeon Volume 4 is on the horizon, which will contain my story "The Shark Engine Enigma". Yeah, it's as weird and fucked up as the title sounds.

Went down to Comic-Con as a guest of Scott Snyder, current superstar writer of "Batman". He's one of the most down to earth people I've met. He really treats his fans fantastically (believe me, I've met the stars that don't...)
What can I say, it was fucking incredible.

ALSO, went down to Occupy Wall Street with Erik Romanyschyn, doing a like recon for our next joint project. The photos are up in my facebook album, feel free to take and use any if you wish.

Did some lectures, readings, and Q&A's recently. Yay.

Lots of stuff on the horizon as usual. You will be warned.

And don't forget, my novella, "Scott Too", is coming out next year from Silverthought Press.

And I'm doing a magazine cover soon for anyone that gives a shit. If you're reading this then I guess you do.

SEX! SHAME! CARRIER PIGEON VOLUME 3!

Ah yes, it's here, the infamous Carrier Pigeon Volume 3 !!! The story that was read before the Stony Brook Southampton's MFA with it's audacity to be just a little bit perverted and just a little bit sad, recommended to Alan Alda and disturbing to read before my parents! I swear it's all fiction ...

More importantly the story is enhanced by the insane illustrations of Josh Bayer, that really capture the sadness, madness, and gooey-ness. As always, Carrier Pigeon is jam packed with amazing artists and writers. Go buy one now please. Sank you.

Carrier Pigeon Volume 2 IS FUCKING AWESOME

The latest of Carrier Pigeon is on shelves, IT IS GORGEOUS. I got a story in it, and there are plenty of other great stories and artists featured. Support the underground hard as hell workers out there. Please buy an issue. The covers are individually screened by famous artists, and its full of great work. Get on the train ! By the way, I DO NOT work for this magazine.

Carrier Pigeon is also available for purchase online and they will ship it with love.

Seriously, you get hand signed and printed variant covers, among other goodies from some of the most talented and up and coming artists and writers around (except me, I'm not that good yet). I'm not fucking around, if you care about art, culture, and what is happening in the meatscape vs. the internet, go get a subscription to Carrier Pigeon. If you are anything less than blown away you can punch me in the dick.

Just a doodle from class, inspired by Warhammer 40K. Can't update the galleries anymore for some reason so this will have to do.

Carrier Pigeon! Comic-Con! Bonac! Skateboarding! Lots of shit!

Carrier Pigeon is on its way. You will find assholes like this in it, and incredible art and writing. Please check out out all the contributors, I've seen their stuff in person, and I'm very proud to be part of the project.

Comic-Con was incredible. I asked for Death's phone number in front of her boyfriend. Got to speak to the lead writers of Mass Effect and Fallout...etc. etc.
Did lots of signings for Space and Time Magazine, always a pleasure.

Lots of projects cooking at once, and Skeightfast Dyephun Vol.2 is slowly coming along.

Tara Israel's
project, (a)Bonac is still rolling, and I'm still writing/editing more vignettes about our weird childhoods.

Read, skate, fight, fuck, love, puke, eat, bleed, and have fun, kids!
